Biomimicry Business Toolkit
We use Biomimicry to guide and transform businesses through today’s complex and changing world. Biomimicry uses the technologies and processes that developed in over 3.8 billion years of evolution in the natural world to improve everything that we do and make, from aeroplanes to transformation processes in companies. On the backdrop of the increasingly urgent environmental challenges facing us, Biomimicry is being turned to by more and more businesses and organizations who want to navigate the future sustainably.

Who is the Biomimicry Business Toolkit for?
Together with Biomimicry 3.8 and our non-profit organization Biomimicry Germany, we translated Biomimicry 3.8‘s Design Lens into German. This downloadable toolkit can serve businesses at all departments and levels as a guideline and measure. For international teams, it can also be downloaded in English.
How to use the Biomimicry Business Toolkit?
This toolkit serves as a guide for all “designers”— that is anyone responsible for creating and implementing a new process, product, method or service at any level. This means that almost all of us are “designers” in one way or another! The Design Lens is a toolkit which offers guidance, but since it is a synthesis of complex practices, it naturally requires training to understand and master what each component represents. This is why we also offer Biomimicry training programs and workshops. We wish you an inspiring start or continuation on your Biomimicry learning journey!
